JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President, FP&A Clinical Enterprise is the senior finance business partner to the OhioHealth’s clinical leadership and OhioHealth Physical Group (“OPG”). This role embeds financial leadership directly into care delivery operations to drive informed decision-making, resource alignment, and sustainable performance while advancing the organization’s mission of high-quality, affordable patient care.
The role emphasizes trusted partnership over transactional finance, combining strong financial rigor with deep operational and clinical understanding. The VP works alongside clinical executives to align financial stewardship with quality, access, safety, workforce sustainability, and growth.
Responsibilities And Duties:
Clinical Enterprise Business Partnering· Serve as the primary finance partner to Chief Clinical Officer, service line leaders and OPG leadership
· Participate as a trusted advisor in clinical leadership forums, operational reviews, and strategic planning discussions
· Help clinical leaders understand financial implications of care models, staffing decisions, throughput initiatives, and quality investments
· Proactively identify financial and operational risks and opportunities tied to clinical performance
· Influence decisions through insight and credibility, not just financial controls
Financial Planning & Forecasting for Care Delivery
· Lead clinical enterprise budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning in partnership with operations and clinical leaders
· Ensure plans reflect key clinical and operational drivers including labor models, care efficiency and reimbursement and payer dynamics
· Facilitate trade-off discussions that balance quality, access, workforce sustainability, and financial performance
· Drive end to end understanding of profitability for OPG and the service lines at an enterprise level in partnership with other system finance and operational leaders
Performance Management & Decision Support
· Co-own clinical and financial performance with operational and clinical leaders
· Develop and monitor KPIs that integrate financial, operational, and quality outcomes
· Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews with a forward-looking, improvement-oriented approach
· Translate data into practical actions that support frontline leaders
· Provide financial leadership for clinical initiatives
· Support business cases for new programs, clinical technologies, and capital investments
· Model scenarios related to volume shifts, labor market pressures, and reimbursement changes
