The Vice President – Escrow Insurance is responsible for providing oversight for all functions within the Escrow Insurance group including Flood/Hazard Insurance, Loss Draft Claims, Vendor Management, Control Monitoring, Capacity Planning, Complaint Management, and Process Improvement.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead onshore and offshore staff to effectively manage risk and cost to service

  • Build and maintain comprehensive policies, procedures and control documents

  • Build and maintain pipeline, capacity, and forecasting reports

  • Strong foundational knowledge of investor, state, and regulatory guidelines required

  • Ensure that all disbursements for escrowed and non-escrowed items including but not limited to flood/hazard insurance and loss draft claims are processed in accordance with all applicable company, investor and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage and monitor the day-to-day operations of insurance vendors to ensure compliance with all Freedom, Investor and regulatory requirements.

  • Calibrate and understand vendor scorecards and quality

  • Ensure compliance with all investor, state and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure that all requests for partial releases or eminent domain are processed in accordance with investor and insurer guidelines

  • Assist in training, staff development, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.

  • Identify and propose solutions to manual processes.

  • Ensure all policies and procedures remain current and certified.

  • Makes recommendations for the improvement of controls in the overall servicing operation.

  • Communicate any trends and / or problems with recommended solutions to senior management.

  • Develop and maintain productivity and quality measurements, standards, and reporting for team.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has direct reports. Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Strong technical Escrow Insurance experience

  • Strong Excel and data analytics skills

  • Strong vendor management skills

  • Experience in both insourcing and outsourcing for and insurance

  • Excellent customer service and employee engagement skills

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University; or Ten (10) to Thirteen (13) years of related experience and/or training (escrow); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Seven (7) years management experience
