VP of Engineering, Data Science, AI, and ML. Southfield, MI.
- Provide strategic and technical leadership and vision to build a mission-critical function.
- Set and execute on the long-term roadmap and objectives for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) team.
- Research, identify, and execute on opportunities for AI and automation within the organization.
- Coordinate the drive of new AI projects from idea generation to execution in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and optimize AI and automation performance.
- Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Influence, energize, and direct an ecosystem of stakeholders toward AI-driven innovation.
- Lead and develop a team of AI/ML engineers.
- Requires bachelor’s degree or higher in any engineering discipline and five years of progressive experience with leading a team of Data Analysts/Scientists, building data-driven analytics/models, data visualization, supporting marketing strategies using data science, and use of SQL, R, and Python.
- Position requires travel within the United States 4x per year. Headquarters (HQ) in Southfield, MI; telecommuting permitted.
