Responsibilities

We are rapidly expanding our e-commerce presence and looking for an extraordinary professional, with a strong Travel pedigree to help lead the charge. We are looking for a dynamic business development leader that has grown an enterprise book of business, built partner channels, and understands the industry’s ecosystem.

As the VP, Global Travel, you will be expected to develop and execute strategic growth plans. We are seeking an experienced, proven leader to drive growth throughout the organization. 

  • Be accountable for the development and implementation of sales and client relationship strategies to bolster Shift4’s goals in the travel space. This includes generating new sales and partnerships to achieve aggressive quarterly and annual sales targets. 
  • Develop and Execute strategic direction and plans across all commercial activities including sales, marketing, relationship management, new business development, customer contract management and customer retention.
  • Drive new and innovative business development via effective communication and marketing campaigns. Positively position the airline solution across all channels, including in-airport/in-flight, direct eCommerce, as well as indirect GDS traffic. 
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including card schemes, industry institutions, PSSs, GDSs, and other providers that are core to the ecosystem.
  • Documenting all strategies and processes implemented.
  • Leverage personal brand to build senior-level, trusted-advisor relationships with new and current clients;  this will include attending and speaking at global industry events.
  • Identify and evaluate airline client needs and collaborate across the organization to develop innovative solutions that deliver a positive client experience and support profitable revenue growth goals. This includes strong partnership with our Channel Sales Leaders, Enterprise, Product and Operational teams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of airline industry experience
  • Extensive omnichannel airline expertise is required.
  • Relationship and customer centric
  • Experienced with delivering the value proposition for customers.
  • A track record of aggressively growing existing customer relationships, while developing new relationships and programs.
  • Experience successfully growing and scaling airline technology solutions.
  • Performance and metrics driven
  • Possesses a track record of developing and implementing performance metrics that are correlated with success, while holding self and others accountable for results
