Angott Search Group is partnering with a nearly $1.5 billion credit union to identify an experienced VP of Digital Services to lead the strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s digital banking channels. This role is responsible for enhancing the member experience across online and mobile platforms while driving digital adoption, operational efficiency, and innovation.

Reporting to the SVP/COO, the VP of Digital Services will collaborate closely with operations, retail, lending, IT, and technology partners to ensure digital solutions are effectively implemented, optimized, and aligned with the credit union’s mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, performance, and daily operations of digital banking platforms, including online banking, mobile banking, account opening systems, and authentication tools.
  • Drive digital channel enhancements, upgrades, and system releases to improve reliability, functionality, and member satisfaction.
  • Monitor digital channel performance metrics, usage trends, and adoption rates to prioritize improvements.
  • Analyze member journeys and optimize digital workflows to reduce friction and improve service efficiency.
  • Ensure digital platforms meet security, regulatory, and ADA accessibility requirements.
  • Partner with internal teams to automate manual processes and improve system integrations.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with IT, cybersecurity, operations, and member support teams to enhance digital service delivery.
  • Manage relationships with digital banking, fintech, and authentication vendors, including performance monitoring and contract oversight.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and fintech partnerships to support the credit union’s digital strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7–10+ years of digital banking, fintech, or digital services leadership experience within a financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of digital banking platforms, APIs, security requirements, and system integrations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-vendor environments.
  • Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, member feedback, and operational insights to improve digital experiences.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 7-10+ years of digital banking, fintech, or digital services leadership experience within a financial institution
  • Strong understanding of digital banking platforms, APIs, security requirements, and system integrations
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-vendor environments
