Job Description

THE POSITION:

This role is responsible for driving Commercial Operations for an EVERSANA™ COMPLETE Commercialization program by coordinating with our business units/functional areas who enable our marketing, medical and field teams, to drive operational excellence. In addition, this role will work to drive and align key business solutions and ensure efficient and effective processes and outputs for the program. This role will drive cross functional collaboration and identify and implement best practices to deliver high impact and value by harnessing new technologies and capabilities, improving field team execution (e.g., data acquisition, KPIs, reporting, CRM readiness, field team readiness, dashboards). The role will also support our CCOs to conduct ad hoc data analysis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:

  • Develop and implement a data driven launch in close collaboration with client/partner. This should include all aspects of data acquisition, warehousing and management, analytics, sales/marketing operations (S&OP) and supporting demand/manufacturing forecasts.
  • Validate all KPIs, ensure timely and effective measurement (lead and lag) and recommend relevant solutions to optimize launch.
  • Continuously improve Commercial Operations by identifying and implementing effective and efficient best practices across Business Units/functions, including innovative AI solutions for launch effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Deployment Solutions, D&A, and Learning and Development to optimize field team execution (e.g., call planning, targeting, IC planning, KPIs, CRM readiness, dashboards, reporting, training, and field team readiness), and drive business results.
  • Conduct routine 1:1 discussions with cross-functional department leads to assess current status on strategy execution, communication, collaboration, and needs.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration among business units
  • Standardize best practices and provide business intelligence by turning relevant insights into actions.
  • Conduct ad hoc data analysis to support CCO, Head of Sales, Head of Marketing, Head of Market Access, Medical and partner.
  • Effectively execute on all data needs for successful payer pull thru by the sales team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Agency in providing solutions to improve Marketing efficiency and effectiveness (e.g., messaging, MLR review, Planning calendar)
  • Collaborate with our Patient Services program team to ensure patients are getting treatments on-time and maximize persistency.
  • Integrate patient CRM data and measurement of marketing tactics for patient acquisition and retention.

  • Responsible for and oversee their respective department.
  • Interview, select and supervise the activities of the department staff; communicate interpret and discuss with team the company policies and procedures.
  • Determine job objectives, work methods and performance standards; review performance relative to departmental objectives discussion appraisal with each employee and performance; authorize and communicate salary changes, promotions, transfers, discipline, and discharge and administer all other personnel actions.
  • Strong issue management skills with a solution-oriented approach.

EXPECTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Travel (30%)
  • Hours (40 Hours per week)

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Deep experience in analytics including forecast creation and interpretation including revenue, supply, and S&OP
  • Strong applied experience in working within and launching field team technologies and CRM platforms (e.g., Veeva)
  • Track record of effectively managing commercial operations for launch teams. Launch Excellence/Readiness experience a plus.
  • Ability to conduct data analysis using analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Access, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience working with Sales Teams and results-driven mentality. Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; must be able to provide succinct, strategic, and actionable insights to senior executives.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Ability to work well within all levels of the organization.
  • Manages successfully across teams to ensure all cross-functional deliverables.
  • 20+ years of biopharma commercial industry experience
  • 10+ years of direct management/leadership experience in commercial operations-specific or closely related roles

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • MBA or other advanced master’s degree preferred
  • Consulting experience a plus

Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $212,000 to $250,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
