Job Overview:
The Vice President, Product Management for the Advisor AI Workspace leads the strategy, development, and enterprise adoption of LPL’s AI-driven advisor operating system within the AI Business Solutions team. This role owns the full product lifecycle—from concept through pilot, rollout, and value realization—delivering a secure, compliant, and scalable workspace where digital agents assist advisors through conversational and workflow-based experiences. Working in a four-in-a-box model with Technology, Business, Operations, and Risk, this leader ensures the platform drives advisor productivity, safeguards client data, and evolves alongside advancements in AI capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute the product vision and roadmap across advisor workflows including prospecting, planning, investment management, client servicing, and practice operations
Lead development of the agent operating system, including standards for agent invocation, orchestration, interaction models, and extensibility
Establish decision frameworks for when agents respond, perform actions, or escalate to human interaction across advisor workflows
Oversee creation and governance of advisor-generated experiences such as templates, workflows, and reusable artifacts within defined guardrails
Drive grounding, evaluation, and quality standards for AI outputs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency across all interactions and artifacts
Own build, buy, and rent decisions across models, orchestration layers, and platform capabilities, including documentation and iterative reassessment
Lead pilot programs with defined success metrics and manage phased enterprise rollout and commercialization strategies
Partner with Technology, InfoSec, Privacy, and Risk to ensure compliance with RAIC standards, FINRA recordkeeping requirements, and data protection protocols
Define telemetry, evaluation frameworks, and success metrics to continuously improve product performance and user outcomes
Drive advisor adoption through training, field engagement, and feedback loops while measuring usage, quality, and business impact

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related field
8+ years of experience in product management, including delivery of AI or automation products with measurable business impact
Demonstrated experience shipping conversational or agentic AI products, including workflow execution or assistant-style experiences
Experience building platforms or tools that end users extend or configure, such as workflow builders or low-code solutions
Demonstrated experience taking products from pilot through enterprise-scale adoption
Core Competencies:
Product management from concept through enterprise adoption, accountable for outcomes
Product sense for agentic, assistant-style experiences, including where an agent acts, confirms, or hands off
Platform and ecosystem thinking, with experience building extensible products
Familiarity with conversational and generative AI, including RAG, prompt management, evaluation, and guardrails
Familiarity with agentic AI architectures, including planner/evaluator patterns, gateways, judges, and audit trails
Preferences:
Experience operating in matrixed environments, including four-in-a-box or similar models
Experience partnering with InfoSec, Privacy, or Compliance on AI or SaaS product reviews
Strong financial acumen with experience building business cases and tracking ROI
Financial services or wealth management experience with knowledge of advisor workflows
Experience delivering AI solutions in FINRA or SEC-regulated environments

Pay Range:
$135,960.00 - $226,600.00Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
