As VP of Accounting, you will lead and transform our accounting function, driving financial excellence while optimizing NetSuite and Salesforce. This is a unique opportunity to shape a world-class finance organization, collaborate with executive leadership, and play a critical role in Ataccama’s continued expansion.
Your Challenge
- Financial Oversight & Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and drive operational excellence.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with FP&A to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Accounting Operations & Process Improvement:
- Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Optimize and automate accounting processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition practices and adherence to accounting policies.
- Support capital planning and financing strategies, including securing lines of credit and optimizing banking relationships.
- Oversee financial system integrations, particularly with NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Support senior leadership with financial analysis and insights to drive business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FP&A, RevOps, Legal, etc.) to align financial strategy with company goals.
- Implement best practices for cash flow management and working capital optimization.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture that encourages innovation, ownership, and collaboration.
Is This You?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in a high-growth technology company is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP), Salesforce, and other financial systems.
- Expertise in managing financial operations for a global company, including intercompany transactions and consolidations.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a process-improvement mindset.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
