Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior VoIP System Architect to join our Defense Solutions System Engineering team, working on large-scale, complex and mission-critical communication systems.
In this role, you will lead the design and integration of advanced VoIP solutions in highly secured environments, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical ownership of projects, working directly with internal and external stakeholders
- Design and integrate Ribbon VoIP solutions with customer environments and 3rd-party systems
- Define system requirements based on customer needs and translate them into R&D deliverables
- Oversee solution design, integration, acceptance testing (ATP), and deployment into customer networks
- Support troubleshooting of complex, multidisciplinary systems together with Professional Services teams
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
- Stay up to date with Ribbon solutions to support future expansions and upsell opportunities
Must Have Qualifications
- Israeli Citizen
- Minimum 5 years of experience in VoIP System Architecture / Professional Services / Tier-3 Support
- Strong understanding of SIP protocol and SBC functions
- Hands-on experience debugging SIP in VoIP networks
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English & Hebrew (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel abroad (up to 4 times per year)
- Ability and willingness to undergo a high-level security clearance process
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with cloud-native environments
- Existing Israeli MoD security clearance – a strong advantage Collaboratesecure,.
