VoIP Engineer

NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are currently seeking a VoIP Network Engineer for our client in Orange, CT.
- We want to incorporate the resource, as soon as possible.
- Position is to work onsite at client facilities in Orange, CT
- This is a long-term contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Act as Subject Matter Expert on VoIP communications, based on Cisco Technologies
- Collaborate in VoIP projects. Currently there is an Ongoing project for Call managers consolidation and migration to platform 12.5.
- Be part of L3 support for the Networking team in a Multitiered support team
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in IT VoIP with Cisco VoIP Technologies
- CCNA or CCNP (preferable 350-801 CLCOR)
- Onsite presence in Orange, CT office
- Ability to work autonomously and manage client expectations
- Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
- Outstanding organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Proactive documentation of work
Knowledge of:
- VoIP infrastructures based on Cisco Unified Communications design and management
- Switching, routing
- Familiar with ticketing systems like IT Now.

Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience in IT VoIP using Cisco VoIP technologies
- CCNA or CCNP certification, preferably 350-801 CLCOR
- Ability to work onsite in Orange, Connecticut
- Ability to work autonomously and manage client expectations
- Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications design and management
- Knowledge of switching and routing
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as IT Now
