HEAD OF SALES

(BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT)

 

Cargo-partner is looking for an experienced head of sales to join our successful team here in Zagreb!

Do you have proven track record in Sales? Do you speak both Croatian and English? Do you have experience in fright forwarding industry?

If you excel in country facts and knowledge, economic geography skills, competitors information, key and target accounts you might be a person we are looking for!

Expected skills and profile

  • Proven track record in sales
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar position
  • Commercial education / education in freight forwarding
  • Deep understanding of the products in transport industry
  • Leadership experience, developed team management skills
  • Communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Broad networking and knowledge of the market
  • Fluency in English and Croatian
  • Driving license B
  • Ms Office knowledge mandatory, Sales Force preferably

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading, supporting, challenging and monitoring performance of sales force
  • Coordinates, directs and leads sales within defined field of responsibility
  • Drives business development activities
  • Responsible for route management and development of defined markets
  • Manages, develops and oversees global agents relationship for defined markets and trade lanes
  • Maintains good relationship with existing clients
  • Represents interests of the Company before third parties
  • Coordinates relations with other units within the Company
  • Responsible to follow and accomplish Business Development department common targets
  • Persuades a profit policy at all the time
  • Mentors and trains sales force
  • Performs partner development for the well-defined geographical area; display of partner network; informs and updates them about our products; builds up a versatile network, monitors profitability of the partner and area
  • Attracts target partners for the entire cargo-partner network
  • Monitors risk management and payment term agreements, route management and development of defined markets and trade lanes for subordinates
  • Takes additional assignments/tasks as required to meet with the Company needs
