We are looking for an SME who has a strong understanding of VMware NSX-T technology and its key components, including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). You should also have experience using Broadcom tools like Aria for operations. A solid background in Data Center LAN technologies is important, especially in areas like fabric switching, load balancing, DNS/DHCP, zoning, and segmentation. Additionally, you need to be familiar with scripting languages like Ansible and JSON.
Responsibilities:
- Expertise in NSX-T: Serve as the subject matter expert for VMware NSX-T technology, providing insights and guidance on best practices for deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
- Integration with VCF: Understand and leverage the integration points between NSX-T and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), ensuring optimal operations within those environments.
- Operational Tools: Utilize Broadcom tools, particularly Aria, to enhance operational efficiency and performance; provide training and support to the operation teams on these tools.
- Data Center Technologies: Apply your expertise in Data Center LAN technologies including fabric switching, load balancing, DNS/DHCP, zoning, and segmentation to support NSX-T implementations.
- Scripting Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts using Ansible and JSON to streamline operations and enhance the management of NSX-T environments.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for operational teams and stakeholders on the nuances of NSX-T and related technologies to ensure effective use and knowledge retention.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, and incident response processes related to NSX-T and its integrations.
- Troubleshooting: Lead complex troubleshooting efforts involving NSX-T and related infrastructure, ensuring quick resolution of issues to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP-NV, VCAP, NSX-T Specialist) are highly desirable.
