Octopus by RTG is hiring for a company in the banking sector a skilled Visualization Expert.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Visualization Expert with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Qlik (Qlik Sense/QlikView) and/or Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering intuitive and interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Qlik and/or Power BI.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective visual solutions.
• Optimize data models, queries, and visualizations for performance and usability.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reporting solutions.
• Implement best practices for visualization design and data storytelling.
• Support data exploration and ad hoc analysis.
• Work on data preparation, data transformation, and integration from multiple sources.
• Provide support and training to end-users on self-service BI tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and developing dashboards using Qlik Sense/QlikView and/or Microsoft Power BI.

• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL.

• Experience with DAX, M language (Power Query), and scripting in Qlik.

• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and cloud data platforms is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) is a plus.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Certification in Qlik or Power BI is a strong advantage.
