Role Responsibilities
As a Visualization Engineer, you will turn data into actionable intelligence by designing interactive dashboards, building scalable data pipelines, and driving automation. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and deliver insights that influence strategic decisions. Your expertise in Python, SQL, and Power BI will help us create compelling visual narratives and ensure data integrity across the business.
- Gather data from various sources, clean, validate, and prepare it for analysis. Define data acquisition and integration/transformation logic using appropriate methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure scalability for multiple use cases.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, anomalies, and outliers.
- Demonstrate mastery in Python and SQL for data manipulation, data quality validation, and pipeline development.
- Design interactive dashboards and compelling visual narratives using Power BI.
- Perform data profiling and quality checks to evaluate the health of data scorecards.
- Apply skills in Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) and serverless deployments.
- Drive and support the design, documentation, and maintenance of data and BI processes.
- Analyze data and BI workflows to suggest and implement improvements.
- Facilitate requirements and design discussions between stakeholders and partner resources.
- Convert complex data and findings into insights and business opportunities for business units.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to investigate and analyze underlying causes of key business trends and anomalies, using data-driven techniques to identify actionable insights and recommend strategic solutions.
- Gain subject matter expertise and help define appropriate key metrics for business units while discovering untapped areas for improvement.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience with strong expertise in Python, SQL, Power BI, and cloud platforms (Snowflake).
- Knowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehousing, database concepts, and related technologies.
- Understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Experience developing BI dashboards, visualizations, interpreting data, and making business recommendations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with large datasets on spreadsheets and dashboards.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines.
- Experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements with minimal support.
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Work Shift
