We’re hiring a Visual Design Principal to craft distinctive UI experiences for millions of users across the globe.

What you´ll do:
In this position, you have a key role in elevating and driving a distinctive and consistent UI design for each of our key brands (Electrolux, AEG, Frigidaire) around the world. You will be part of a cross-functional design team to define what goes into each brand’s unique design expression, and you will have a specific focus on creating strong visual digital experiences.
You are responsible for unifying and systematizing the visual identity of each brand to be implemented across our global portfolio of products, and across both physical and digital touchpoints to improve recognition and user experience. To succeed in this, you will collaborate, support, and inspire our global team of designers, to ensure all visual designs created are consistent. You will also collaborate closely with our Marketing team to develop, maintain, and consistently implement the visual brand identity across all touchpoints.
We are looking for you, a Visual Design Principal with a great sense of aesthetics and a strong understanding of UI design, graphic design, and identity design.
Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and evolve our visual design in UI’s and guidelines.

Enable a consistent visual language and brand experience across different platforms, both physical and digital.

Work collaboratively with a cross-functional creative team to develop a scalable visual design language that meets product and business goals.

Create sketches, storyboards, and prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and to guide the development of product experiences.

Collaborate on concepts for compelling visuals in various styles/mediums: illustration, photography, video, animation, or other media (as appropriate)

Contribute to our internal design system.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, located in different parts of the world.

Ability to present and discuss your work with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, and comfortably manage deadlines while running multiple projects.

Ability to take initiative and find opportunities for improvements.

Embrace the iterative design process and seek feedback.

Use empathy, logic, as well as quantitative data, and qualitative insights to evaluate and improve content.
Requirements
-
A portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of UI design, graphic design, and identity design.

7+ years of professional experience as a Visual/Graphic Designer at a creative agency or an in-house team.

Proven experience in a leadership role within a design team.

Experience in managing and influencing stakeholders across large organizations.

Strong understanding of UX principles and how visual design impacts user experience.

Deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma.

Comfortable learning new programs/tools in an ever-changing landscape of tools.

Fluency across graphic design, motion, typography, photography, and illustration.

Fluent in spoken and written English
