Job DescriptionWhat's it all about?
As an experienced manager in VCA is expected to deliver best-in-class engagements aimed at helping our clients grow their business. Typically, 2-3 months in duration and running in parallel, potential projects could include strategy developments, portfolio management diagnostics, assessments of digital product and marketing strategies, product design and launch, development of industry landscape evaluations to inform payments strategies, and optimisation of client customer experience and supporting processes
Manage the delivery of high-quality consultancy engagements in the Central Eastern Europe Cluster, with focus on Czech market
Assist in driving meaningful business relationships between Visa and its key clients
What we expect, day to day…
Sell and deliver management consulting projects, mainly to financial institutions
Work with project team to prepare project proposals, clarifying objectives, scope, deliverables, approach, draw input from client, local client relationship managers and functional teams
Develop project setup including contracting documentation, stakeholder engagement, interview guides and client data requirements
Lead and deliver projects through either self, other internal or external staff as appropriate. Manage project costs to agreed budgets and timeframes and ensure high standard of delivery
Develop fact base by undertaking client interviewing, collecting and analysing inputs such as client data, process flows, policies, competitive, industry and environmental information
Analyse Visa and client data to conduct benchmarking, identify performance gaps and develop improvement opportunities
Collaborate with data science team members to leverage advanced data analytics capabilities
Identify solutions and recommendations that address client objectives and result in performance improvement; leverage relevant VCA methodologies, frameworks, and global best practices
Work with project team to design and deliver compelling presentations to illustrate findings, ideas, recommendations within consulting engagements; at times support implementation at the client site
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
QualificationsPreferred Qualifications
•Experience in consulting with proven project deliveries and
expertise in consulting methodologies; working for the financial services
industry (preferably for banks)
•High intellectual capability evidenced by strong analytical skills
•Experience in conceptualizing new products and business models in a digital
and technology-driven environment
•Client relationship management skills (including senior executive level)
•Excellent spoken and written command of both Czech/Slovak and English
•Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
•Excellent ability to comprehend and convey complex business information
•Deep business acumen and business analysis skills (research and analyse
market and client information to tell a story)
•High levels of integrity and business ethics
•Willingness to travel and work onsite with clients as needed
•Management of internal and external project team members
