Role
As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll be at the intersection of tech and business, working closely with Sales and Product teams to support clients in integrating Gladia’s API. Your mission will be to ensure seamless adoption of our technology by solving technical challenges and optimizing integrations.
This 18-month VIE position is based in New York (Manhattan), with an initial onboarding period in our Paris’ office before relocation to get fully immersed in Gladia’s tech and culture.
Supporting Sales on client calls: Understanding their technical challenges and proposing tailored solutions.
Diving into client stacks: Analyzing APIs, architectures, and systems to recommend the best integration and configuration.
Building dashboards: Creating monitoring tools to track performance and improve integrations.
Debugging and troubleshooting: Reading and analyzing code to help clients solve technical issues.
Competitive intelligence: Conducting research on market trends and competitors to enhance Gladia’s product strategy.
A first successful experience as a developer with hands-on expertise in Python or TypeScript.
You’re comfortable interacting with clients and solving their technical problems.
Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to customers of varying expertise.
Interest in speech-to-text, audio intelligence, and machine learning tools.
Ability to break down complex technical challenges and provide clear, actionable solutions.
Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
To qualify for a VIE (International Corporate Volunteer Program), candidates must meet the following criteria:
Age requirement: Be between 18 and 28 years old at the time of registration (up until the day before your 29th birthday).
Nationality: Be a citizen of a country in the European Economic Area (EEA) (European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) or Switzerland.
Legal status: Be compliant with national service obligations (e.g., JDC for French citizens).
First-time participation: Candidates must not have previously completed a VIE or VIA (Volontariat International en Administration).
