Job Description
VIE - Junior Category Manager Works FFE (Furniture Fixtures and Equipment)
Location: Madrid
Duration: 12 to 24 months
Are you ready to embark on an international experience with one of the leading global hospitality groups? As a Junior Category Manager Works FFE (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) within our Astore Procurement Department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Works and FFE-related procurement strategies across Southern Europe region (France, Spain, Portugal and Italy). Join a diverse, multicultural team and help identify hotel needs, find innovative procurement solutions, and contribute to responsible hospitality.
What will you do?
- Assist in developing strategies for Works & FFE categories including furniture, joinery, technical equipment and maintenance (HVAC, Kitchen, …).
- Support RFP and RFI processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management to ensure optimal offers for the hotel network.
- Manage supplier relationships, including organizing business reviews, renegotiations, and sourcing new suppliers when necessary.
- Deploy supplier solutions across the hotel network and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Contribute to procurement data analysis to identify savings opportunities and support decision-making.
Qualifications
Our ideal profile would be:
- Knowledge or experience in FFE procurement categories and strategies.
- Familiarity with procurement and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, e-Procurement tools).
- Experience or interest in the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to work in multicultural teams.
- Professional proficiency in English; Spanish recommended, French would be a plus.
- In order to be considered for this position, you must be eligible for a VIE program, meeting the requirements set by Business France.
