The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your locationAt our Hamburg site, located in the small village of Finkenwerder, we develop, define and produce commercial aircrafts from the first idea to the airworthy product. Watch them starting and landing on our own on-site airport. Hamburg downtown is reached within 20Min per Ferry boat.

Configuration Management is playing a key role in the whole aircraft product lifecycle and within our digital transformation. Here you will be integrated into the leading team to work on future Cabin solutions in the Widebody perimeter.
Developing together with the team the future set-up of our Widebody team in cooperation with the other functions located in France, Spain and UK.
Find answers for e.g. What are our key deliverables and how can we ensure it? What could we do to enlarge the digital landscape? In which level of details we must enter to ensure a proper Configuration Management Control? How can we improve our overall performance and efficiency?
Desired skills and qualifications
You have completed a Masters studies in Aeronautics or Project Management or equivalent and are looking to have a first V.I.E. experience.
Knowledge of project management, aircraft lifecycle, digital solutions and sustainability.
A keen interest in anticipation of future challenges and reducing the probability of any configuration errors.
Fluent English skills.
Skills in analyzing the actual situation, working with KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) and driving topics into necessary results.
Soft skills: good communicator, inquisitive, team player, open minded and independently working.
