Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and creative Video Team Manager to lead our video production and post-production team. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, production, editing, and delivery of high-quality video content that supports doTERRA's marketing, communications, and brand objectives.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for visual storytelling, exceptional project management skills, and extensive experience in both production and post-production. They will mentor and develop the video team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure all content meets creative, technical, and brand standards.
 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of videographers, editors, and freelance creative professionals.
  • Assign projects, manage workloads, and establish production priorities.
  • Foster a collaborative, creative, and high-performing team culture.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support professional development.
  • Oversee all phases of video production, including concept development, pre-production, production, post-production, and final delivery.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and leadership teams to develop creative strategies and content plans.
  • Manage production schedules, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Supervise on-location and studio productions when necessary.
  • Provide creative direction for storytelling, cinematography, editing, motion graphics, and overall production quality.
  • Review and approve edits, graphics, color grading, sound design, and final deliverables.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with brand standards and organizational goals.
  • Maintain consistency across all video assets and platforms.
  • Manage video production equipment, studio resources, and software licenses.
  • Develop and maintain efficient production workflows and asset management systems.
  • Evaluate and implement new production technologies, editing techniques, and creative tools.
  • Oversee media storage, file organization, backups, and archiving processes.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives and translate them into compelling visual content.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in video production and post-production.
  • 2–3+ years of experience leading or managing creative teams.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other video software.
  • Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, audio production, color correction, and motion graphics.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and production schedules.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with business objectives and deadlines.
