Position Overview

As a Videographer / Video Editor you will play a key role in supporting Client video director and production team across all phases of content creation. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role responsible for producing, filming, and editing video content for a variety of internal clients.

This role includes approximately 10% travel to support on-location productions.

This role is structured with a strong balance of responsibilities:

  • 60% video editing
  • 30% filming / camera operation
  • 10% producing / project support

You will contribute to storytelling efforts from concept through delivery, ensuring high production value, strong visual composition, and polished final content. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and creatively driven, with a deep understanding of modern filmmaking techniques and corporate storytelling.

 

Primary Responsibilities

Video Production & Filming (30%)

  • Operate cinema cameras and related production equipment for studio and on-location shoots
  • Capture high-quality video for interviews, executive messaging, product, and lifestyle content
  • Set up and operate camera support systems, including gimbals and stabilization rigs
  • Collaborate with director and team to execute creative vision and shot composition
  • Apply foundational grip & electric (G&E) knowledge to support production setups
  • Assist with lighting setups for people, products, and environments
  • Record and manage footage with strong attention to visual detail and continuity

 

Post-Production & Editing (60%)

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content, including internal communications, brand pieces, and storytelling content
  • Create high-impact sizzle reels, highlight videos, and event recap content
  • Execute professional-level editing using DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Perform color correction and color grading to achieve high-end visual quality
  • Integrate music, sound design, and graphics to enhance storytelling
  • Ensure all deliverables meet Client quality standards and brand guidelines
  • Manage file organization, version control, and media workflows

 

Producing & Project Support (10%)

  • Support pre-production planning, including shot lists, schedules, and creative alignment
  • Assist in coordinating shoots, talent, and logistics
  • Help guide projects from concept through delivery in collaboration with the director
  • Contribute to storytelling development and narrative structure
  • Interface with internal clients to understand project needs and objectives
  • Maintain attention to detail across all phases of production

 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of modern videography and filmmaking techniques
  • Expert-level video editing experience using DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Advanced color correction and color grading (colorist) skills
  • Hands-on experience operating cinema cameras and professional video equipment
  • Strong storytelling ability, including experience directing talent and shaping narratives
  • Experience producing corporate and executive messaging videos
  • Excellent visual eye for composition, lighting, and detail
  • Experience editing both short-form and long-form content
  • Ability to create dynamic highlight and sizzle videos from event footage
  • Proficiency with camera stabilization tools (gimbals) and accessories
  • Working knowledge of basic grip & electric (G&E)
  • Understanding of lighting techniques for both people and product videography
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automotive or motorcycle videography
  • Background in product and lifestyle videography
  • Drone videography experience or willingness to learn
  • Photography experience (composition, lighting, editing)
  • College degree or technical certification in film, video production, or related field

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry production equipment (up to 50 lbs)
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods during shoots
  • Ability to work in studio and on-location environments
  • Flexibility to support occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekend productions

  • Demonstrated business acumen
