Job Summary:

This role is for a Short-Form Video Editor responsible for creating high-performing social media ads for platforms such as Meta and TikTok. The position focuses on producing fast-paced, engaging video content designed to capture attention quickly and maximize viewer retention for paid advertising campaigns.

You will work closely with the founder and marketing team to transform raw footage into compelling ad creatives using modern editing techniques such as subtitles, motion graphics, transitions, and AI voiceovers. The role requires someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to feedback, and continuously improve creative output based on performance and evolving social media trends.

• Edit and produce high-performing short-form video ads designed for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and other social channels.
• Create fast-paced, attention-grabbing edits that maximize viewer retention, with engaging elements appearing frequently throughout the video.
• Incorporate captions, subtitles, AI voiceovers, motion graphics, and dynamic transitions commonly used in modern short-form ad creatives.
• Work with raw footage and creative briefs to produce compelling ad content aligned with campaign goals.
• Perform basic image editing tasks when required using tools such as Photoshop or Canva.
• Work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, delivering creatives within tight timelines.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to iterate and improve ads based on feedback and performance insights.
• Remain open to feedback and revisions, continuously improving creative output through collaboration.
• Stay updated on short-form content trends, editing techniques, and platform best practices to keep creatives competitive and engaging.

• Strong portfolio showcasing short-form video ads, particularly fast-paced social media content.
• Experience editing short-form content optimized for engagement and retention.
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with modern short-form editing techniques, including subtitles, AI voiceovers, motion graphics, and rapid scene transitions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple revisions or feedback cycles.
• Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback quickly in an iterative creative process.
• Basic image editing skills using Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality creative assets consistently.
• Self-motivated and capable of working in a fully remote environment.
