Job Summary

We are looking for a high-performance Video Editor to join one of the fastest-growing marketing agencies in North America. This isn’t a role for background editors—we need a storyteller who understands the science of the scroll. You will be responsible for capturing the authentic, gritty energy of the blue-collar world and transforming it into high-impact, viral content. If you are obsessed with retention metrics, psychological hooks, and pushing creative boundaries within a high-energy team, this is the place to build your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit high-impact video content designed to drive organic virality and engagement across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
  • Manage high-volume post-production workflows, delivering 5-10 polished videos per day without sacrificing creative quality.
  • Analyze content performance metrics (watch time, CTR, pacing) to constantly refine hooks and editing styles.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated creative squad of editors to run workshops, share insights, and elevate the department’s total output.
  • Integrate AI tools and cutting-edge motion graphics to increase production efficiency and visual appeal.
  • Work closely with account managers and designers to deliver high-converting assets for websites, social media, and advertising campaigns.
  • Maintain brand consistency while capturing the authentic, hard-working spirit of trades-based businesses.

Requirements
  • 3-4+ years of professional experience in video and photo production, preferably in an agency or fast-paced business environment.
  • Proven track record of virality with a portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of social media algorithms and organic reach.
  • Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro and the Creative Cloud suite, including Lightroom.
  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to edit based on data, psychology-driven hooks, and music trends.
  • Proficiency in motion graphics and animation specifically tailored for short-form content.
  • Ability to work at high speeds in a "work hard, play hard" environment while maintaining meticulous organization via Google Workspace.
  • A collaborative spirit and the leadership potential to mentor and inspire other editors on the team.
