Video Editor (LATAM)

The Position

The main focus of this role is to edit, design, and execute engaging video content for paid social ads for our clients. You’ll execute on storyboards that are developed with creative strategists while bringing in art direction and best practices from across the web and social. You will bring a range of skills to the team that includes video ideation, editing, design, animation, ad design, and can lead art direction on projects. The goal of the role is to design high-quality digital assets in a fast pace environment to improve client ROAS goals.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a portfolio featuring multiple examples of video editing and motion graphics projects for marketing used across social and web placements. The candidate will also be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the latest digital trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills

• 3+ years video editing, motion graphics and animated content creation experience.
• Experience producing engaging video content for web and social.
• A dynamic portfolio showcasing strengths in video editing and motion graphics
• Strong in Adobe Premiere and or After Effects
• Exceptional creative and art direction skills
• Work collaboratively with the ability to be a thought partner to teams in developing creative concepts.
• Incredibly detail-oriented (spelling, grammar, mistakes. etc)
• Open and receptive to creative direction and design feedback
• Someone who works backward on a problem before moving forward towards a solution
• Understanding of leading social platforms
• Experience working with eCommerce and DTC brands

Responsibilities

• Research and understand overall client initiatives/data to accurately convey them through engaging video, motion and animated content.
• Work with creative briefs to edit and animate social ads for performance advertising using creative storytelling and editing to produce the best possible videos
• Present ideas and creative recommendations to develop creative briefs
• Work on multiple clients’ ads creatives each week to build out extensive libraries for each funnel stage for placements such as IG, IG Stories, IG Reels, FB, Twitter, YouTube, and Tik Tok
• An understanding of the digital content atmosphere, meaning content needs to be fast, smart and attention-grabbing at all times
• Have a track record of working with hours of footage and editing it into an engaging videos
• Bringing static designs to life with animating motion GFX to improve storytelling across all client brands
• Animate cinemagraphs, GIFS, and other motion formats
• Pull stills from videos for thumbnails
