About the Role
SolarWinds is seeking a Video Editor & Motion Designer to join our creative team in our Manila or Bangalore offices. In this role, you will act as a core member of our creative group, responsible for designing and creating high-quality motion graphics and video content across multiple business units for the company.
As a post-production expert, you will lead complex projects from concept to final delivery. We are looking for a creator who focuses on building scalable creative systems, utilizing agentic models and automation tools to increase team efficiency while maintaining high production standards and brand alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Post-Production & Motion Design
- Video Editing: Edit footage into polished, engaging videos that incorporate motion, music, and sound design to meet project objectives.
- Motion Graphics: Design and animate high-quality 2D/3D motion graphics, including title sequences, motion templates, and explainer videos.
- Visual Effects: Execute technical tasks such as rotoscoping, green-screen keying, and compositing to enhance video content.
- Quality Control: Review final products for visual and audio consistency, ensuring all content is error-free and aligns with brand standards before delivery.
Scaling & Agentic Automation
- Agentic Model Integration: Implement AI-driven agentic models to automate repetitive post-production tasks and technical workflows.
- Systemic Scaling: Leverage automation tools to build scale through efficient versioning, localization, and asset management processes.
- Workflow Optimization: Actively identify and test new technologies that streamline the technical handoff between creative ideation and final delivery.
- Efficiency Management: Focus on building repeatable systems that allow the worldwide creative team to increase output without sacrificing quality.
Project Coordination & Management
- Storyboarding: Translate scripts into visual storyboards to align on creative direction with stakeholders before production begins.
- Stakeholder Navigation: Manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, effectively navigating expectations across global regions.
- Asset Organization: Maintain an efficient filing system for all design files, assets, and project folders to ensure seamless access for the global team.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential production challenges or technical risks and implement strategies to resolve them.
Qualifications
- Software Wisdom: Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- 3D Animation: Experience with Cinema 4D or Maya is highly preferred.
- AI & Automation: Demonstrated interest or experience in using agentic models and AI tools to automate workflows and build production scale.
- Professional Experience: Proven track record as a Video Editor or Motion Designer, ideally in a corporate or agency setting.
- Collaborative Mindset: Strong ability to communicate and coordinate with a remote-first worldwide creative team.
- Detail-Oriented: A problem-solver who can address technical challenges independently while ensuring all content meets brand guidelines.
