Job Description
*Must live within commuting distance of STCU's Headquarters located in Liberty Lake, WA.*
The Video Content Creator Internship will provide an opportunity to experience working within an Marketing Department completing the following responsibilities:
- Ideas: Quantity leads to quality.
- Execution: Film, edit, produce video content.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create videos that support current campaigns.
- Ensure every piece of content you create aligns with our brand voice.
We need two things: concepts and execution. You come up with ideas (with the help of our Creative Strategist) and then bring those ideas to life. This role requires someone who can GSD (Get Stuff Done). We are looking for someone who can create a lot of content because we believe quantity teaches you quality. You learn by doing. Not analyzing. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and turning content ideas into short and medium length videos. A deep interest in video trends that perform well on YouTube and social media is a must.
Duration: Up to Six months with the possibility of extension
Schedule/Hours per week: 24+ per week with the ability to work up to 40 hours per week in the summer.
Eligibility: Candidates must currently live within commuting distance to Headquarters in Liberty Lake, WA. Candidates must currently be enrolled in a local college for the entirety of the internship and of at least a junior standing, through December 2025 and be eligible for internship credit.
Qualifications
- Expertise in video equipment, lighting, audio, and editing software
- Understanding of editing for YouTube and social media
- Some experience in creating engaging content across all social media platforms
- Ability to turn a concept into compelling content
- Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content
- Self-motivated
