About the Internet Society
The Internet Society (ISOC) supports and promotes the development of the Internet as a global technical infrastructure, a resource to enrich people’s lives, and a force for good in society. Our work aligns with our goals for the Internet to be open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy. We seek collaboration with all who share these goals.
Together, we focus on building and supporting the communities that make the Internet work; advancing the development and application of Internet infrastructure, technologies, and open standards; and advocating for policy that is consistent with our view of the Internet.
About the Position
The Vice President, Technology Solutions and Services (TSS) isn’t just another IT executive role. It’s a rare opportunity to lead the entire technology ecosystem of a mission-driven organization, encompassing global infrastructure and cybersecurity, enterprise systems, risk management, and innovation.
You’ll lead a talented and passionate team, modernizing systems, simplifying operations, and delivering technology that connects and empowers people worldwide. You’ll ensure our tools and systems strengthen our ability to build and protect the Internet, and to reach those who need it most.
As a member of ISOC’s Enterprise Risk Council, you’ll play a central role in shaping the organization’s technology risk strategy, balancing security, innovation, and cost efficiency. You’ll also lead a focused effort to reduce technology sprawl and optimize spending, ensuring ISOC’s investments deliver impact, not overhead.
In the near term, you’ll own and stabilize the Fonteva AMS platform, bringing order, usability, and confidence to a system that underpins how ISOC connects with its members and chapters worldwide. This is an opportunity to blend purpose, leadership, and innovation on a truly global scale.
