The Vice President of Teaching, Learning & Program Design is a key enterprise leader who shapes the future of educational excellence across New Story's national network of schools and programs. This role drives the vision, strategy, and systems that ensure students receive high-quality, innovative, and outcomes-focused educational experiences while supporting sustainable growth and continuous improvement.

As the organization's academic thought leader, you will influence how educational services are designed, delivered, measured, and refined. You will partner with leaders across education, behavioral health, operations, human resources, and quality teams to create scalable models that improve student outcomes and strengthen organizational impact.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of educational leadership experience with significant responsibility for curriculum, instruction, assessment, and program design

  • Demonstrated success developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that improve student outcomes across multiple schools, programs, districts, or regions

  • Deep expertise in curriculum development, instructional leadership, assessment systems, educational innovation, and continuous improvement

  • Experience serving students with disabilities, students requiring intensive behavioral or therapeutic supports, or other specialized student populations

  • Strong executive leadership, change management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Lead the enterprise vision, strategy, and standards for teaching, learning, academic excellence, and instructional quality across all programs

  • Design and continuously improve curriculum, assessment, instructional, and educational program frameworks that drive meaningful student outcomes

  • Develop scalable service delivery models, implementation playbooks, and innovative educational programs that support diverse student populations

  • Partner with organizational leaders to align academic strategy, workforce design, operational sustainability, and organizational priorities

  • Serve as the organization's academic subject matter expert while representing New Story in external partnerships, reporting, and thought leadership opportunities
