This opportunity is for a highly experienced professional with proven track record to join as Vice President in the Product Management Group in our Hyderabad office. This group is responsible for working with technology teams throughout the product development lifecycle to specify, develop, and implement the firms’ infrastructure, data products, and middle- and back-office applications.
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic professional for Vice President, Product-Tax role to lead the vision and execution of our Tax Product for Alternate Investment Industry. In this pivotal role, you will craft the vision and drive the roadmap for this new product on our platform, ensuring they meet both existing client needs and commercial goals. This is a unique opportunity to influence our flagship client offerings and explore new avenues for commercialization.
What you'll do:
- Vision & Strategy: Develop and own the vision and commercial product strategy for Tax Product
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of the assigned product portfolio from ideation through launch, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
- Budget Management: Propose, manage, and oversee the R&D budget for your product portfolio.
- Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a product roadmap in alignment with the overall product vision, using insights from the Alternative Investment industry and target market segments.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, holding accountability for the team’s performance and delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, test engineering and client relationship teams to align individual product visions with the overall platform vision, leveraging a deep understanding of the Arcesium product suite.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and execute an engagement and communication strategy for clients and senior stakeholders.
- Market Awareness: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure our products remain competitive and innovative.
What you'll need:
- ~ 15 years of experience in the field of US Taxation
- Domain expertise in US Partnership Tax Compliance and Planning for Hedge Funds and PE funds
- Strong understanding of Alternative Investment industry and tax aspects that affects them
- Experience in driving Tax Technology initiatives will be an advantage
- Proven track record of managing complex and cross-functional assignments
- Strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and leadership track record
- An outstanding academic background and a passion to work in a high-tech software development environment
