ABOUT THE POSITION 

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will play a key role in driving Visante’s growth by aligning and enhancing sales strategies across the organization. Leveraging a strong network of relationships with hospital and health system executives (particularly CFOs but also including CEOs, COOs, CSOs, and CPOs), as well as cultivating new connections, the VP of Sales will collaborate with business leaders to establish and expand strategic client partnerships.  The Vice President will work in a highly expert-led sales environment, partnering closely with Visante’s sales leadership, consulting leaders, and delivery teams to shape opportunities and bring solutions to market. 

This individual will translate the company’s strategic growth objectives into actionable business opportunities, helping to shape and execute targeted sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in business development, revenue generation, and brand positioning.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support achievement of Visante’s annual growth targets and related client services.
  • Coordinate and pursue targeted lead generation with potential clients. Communicate competently around Visante capabilities and support Visante leaders with ongoing partnership discussions/negotiations.
  • Collaborate with pursuit teams on pricing and packaging recommendations aimed at maximizing additional revenue and price discipline.
  • Maintain and grow a well-connected network of health system and hospital executives to enhance growth. Support business referrals by fostering relationships between Visante leaders and clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and leaders to enhance Visante’s communication and marketing plan. 
  • Provide timely updates to Visante executives regarding shifting client needs/market dynamics.
  • Accountable for sales reporting that promotes contemporary, accurate records of sales prospects and activity, including maintenance of opportunities in CRM (HubSpot) and forecasting.
  • Accurately and effectively facilitate responses to requests for information for new business proposals. 
  • Support the positioning of Visante as a trusted resource for customers by informing/developing presentations and/or marketing efforts.
  • Participate in conferences and industry events to educate potential clients and support a positive brand reputation in the marketplace.

Requirements

Education

Required: Bachelor's degree.

Experience

Required: 10 years of professional experience spent operating in, selling to or servicing health systems, including regular interactions with health system/hospital executive leadership teams. Well-networked and strong reputation amongst senior health system/hospital executives – particularly with CFOs and/or Chief Pharmacy Officers. Successful strategic sales account planning skills 

Preferred: Knowledge and understanding of the pharmacy market.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree
