The Role
The VP of Solutions Consulting leads the global SC organization to drive revenue growth, build a high-performing team, and ensure client satisfaction through strategic product adoption and implementation.
Summary Generated by Built In

As VP of Solutions Consulting, you will define the strategy and lead the execution of our global Solutions Consulting (SC) organization.

The SC team is vital to Navan’s growth, sitting at the intersection of Product, Account Management, and the Customer. Your mission is to maximize client value, thereby driving both client satisfaction, and revenue.  This is a high-impact, client facing team.  SCs have many levers they can pull to directly drive revenue – including product configuration, churn risk mitigation, launch acceleration, professional services fees, and adoption of new products.

You will build, lead, coach, and inspire an elite, high-performing team that exceeds its goals, delights clients, and is excited to come to work every day.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Revenue & Growth: Own the strategy and execution of the SC function globally to exceed revenue targets and drive impact through various levers including retention, accelerated launches, and the delivery of billable professional services
  • Build a High Performance Team: Manage and scale a team of 25+ experts across solutions consulting and technical integrations.  Identify, attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a culture of extreme ownership, accountability, and cross-functional partnership across Sales, Finance, and Operations, Product, Account Management, etc.
  • Voice of the Customer: Act as a strategic bridge between clients and Product teams to ensure market needs are prioritized and the AM organization is enabled on the latest product releases and strategy
  • Mitigate Churn & Drive Adoption: Partner directly with clients and with AMs to optimize product configuration, ensuring they maximize value and drive successful adoption of Navan’s latest features
  • Oversee Product Implementations: Own the end-to-end implementation for the Expense product, ensuring rapid timelines and successful deployments of direct integrations (HRIS, ERP, etc.) and custom APIs
  • Lead from the Front: “Get in the weeds” by maintaining frequent client interactions, becoming a true subject matter expert in Navan’s product, the broader fintech/T&E industry, and how we create value for our customers

What We’re Looking For:

  • Professional Background (One of the following):
    • 7-10 years at a “Big Four” or similar consulting firm (preferably in Technical or Management Consulting) with deep experience leveraging systems to lead business process transformation and change
    • 7-10 years in Solutions Consulting, including at least 2-3 years leading a practice at scale, within a related ecosystem (Fintech, ERP, Payments, or T&E)
  • Proven Leadership: Extensive experience hiring, developing, managing, and inspiring high-performance teams
  • Financial & Technical Fluency: Comfort navigating conversations with both Finance/Accounting and Engineering/Integration teams. Deep accounting experience (e.g. CPA) not required but a plus
  • Analytical Mindset: Data-driven to the core with a track record of high performance
  • Strategic Versatility: Ability to “fly at multiple altitudes” – managing frontline details while architecting long-term vision
  • Ownership: A mindset of extreme accountability and exceptional communication skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
