We are seeking a talented individual to join our Singapore retail broking (non-specialty) team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
What can you expect?
You will join as a seasoned professional individual contributor in Singapore retail broking team (non-specialty), who works independently with minimal supervision to grow, ensure retention and relationship satisfaction of a portfolio of clients and assists senior level colleagues with complex accounts and collaborate with other internal stakeholders to meet our target revenue.
Specifically you will:
- Co-lead, maintain and grow an existing portfolio of large clients and contribute to personal and team sales targets while overseeing the portfolio of accounts held by junior members of the team.
- Coach and guide junior team members on the account management and expansion process and intervenes when necessary to offer guidance and prevent relationship losses for at-risk team accounts.
- Conduct and analyse research to maintain a comprehensive understanding of assigned accounts coinciding with business needs as well as core team accounts.
- Attend or participate in presentations or sales meetings for priority or at-risk team accounts when necessary to develop team capabilities and maintain the team portfolio.
- Identify expansion opportunities for personal and team accounts leveraging an advanced understanding of internal service and product offerings, market trends and developments and the business standing of specific accounts.
- Define the strategy for custom solution development for the team portfolio for the designated geographies, communicating product and solution, sales targets, remuneration and pricing expectations.
- Attend and participate in industry events and conferences and client functions to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company and its product offerings and solutions.

- Take on a leading role within the business as a mentor and subject matter expert
- Be the face of Marsh to our large and complex clients
- Analyse and formulate insights on client challenges through data analysis

- Collaborate extensively with Business Development, Placement and Operations for day-to-day functions and wider stakeholders to align with our growth ambition
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Attained minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI). ANZIIF or ACII will be an added advantage
- At least 10 years' prior experience in the insurance industry including 5 years’ experience in retail broking
- Relevant experience in Property and Casualty insurance in Singapore market preferred
- Excellent people management, time management, verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding analytical thinking and problem solving skills
