Vice President of Product

The Vice President of Product is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the product vision and strategy across One Park Financials funding platform and customer-facing experiences. Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, the VP of Product will own the end-to-end product lifecycle — from strategy and discovery through delivery and iteration — and will lead a growing team of product managers, Scrum master, project managers and product operations professionals.

This leader will partner closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Risk, and Finance to align the roadmap with company priorities, accelerate our funding-automation initiatives, and ensure OPF delivers a differentiated, data-driven product experience. As AI becomes central to how we serve small businesses, the VP of Product is also expected to lead with an AI Development Life Cycle (AIDLC) mindset — embedding AI responsibly and rigorously across the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic thinker and hands-on operator, with a proven track record of building and scaling products in fintech, lending, or a comparably regulated, high-velocity environment.

Product Vision & Strategy

• Define and communicate a compelling, multi-year product vision and strategy aligned with OPF’s mission and business objectives.
• Translate market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive dynamics into a clear, prioritized product strategy.
• Champion the strategic priorities of the business — including funding automation and credit underwriting — and ensure the product portfolio advances them.

Roadmap & Execution

• Own the product roadmap end-to-end, balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform investment.
• Establish a rigorous prioritization framework that maximizes customer and business value against available capacity.
• Drive disciplined product delivery in partnership with Engineering, ensuring on-time, high-quality releases and rapid iteration.
• Define and track success metrics (OKRs/KPIs) for every major initiative and hold the organization accountable to outcomes.

Team Leadership

• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product management and product operations team.
• Establish product management best practices, standards, and career development pathways.
• Foster a culture of customer obsession, data-driven decision-making, accountability, and continuous learning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Engineering to align technical architecture and delivery with product strategy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and the Sales Co function to ensure the product enables efficient funding, servicing, and growth.
• Work with Marketing to shape positioning, go-to-market, and customer messaging for new features and products.
• Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, and Finance to ensure products meet regulatory, credit, and financial requirements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing clear, data-backed recommendations and status.

Data & Customer Insights

• Instrument products for measurement and use analytics, experimentation, and customer research to guide decisions.
• Develop deep empathy for OPF’s small-business customers through direct engagement, voice-of-customer programs, and usage data.
• Establish feedback loops that continuously improve conversion, retention, funding velocity, and customer satisfaction.

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years leading and scaling product teams.
• Proven success owning product strategy and roadmap for a technology platform, ideally in fintech, lending, payments, or financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to ship products that drive measurable business outcomes at scale.
• Strong analytical skills with fluency in metrics, experimentation, and data-informed decision-making.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills across technical and business audiences.
• Experience partnering closely with Engineering in an agile delivery environment.
• Experience with Salesforce —including product integrations and CRM-driven workflows
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in small-business lending, revenue-based financing, or working-capital products.
• Familiarity with automation, workflow, and decisioning systems (e.g., underwriting, funding, or servicing platforms).
• Background scaling products in a regulated environment with Risk and Compliance partners.
• B.S., B.A. or advanced degree, or relevant product certifications (e.g., CSPO).
