Are you interested in building capabilities that enable the organization with innovation, speed, agility, scalability and efficiency? The Global Technology and Operations team takes great pride in our culture where digital transformation is built into our DNA! When you join our organization at Prudential, you’ll unlock an exciting and impactful career – all while growing your skills and advancing your profession at one of the world’s leading financial services institutions.

Your Team

As a Vice President, Product Owner for Central Nervous System (CNS) within the Chief Data and AI Office, you will own the full product lifecycle for one of Prudential’s most important enterprise Data & AI capabilities. CNS is designed to connect customer, advisor, market, competitor, product, operational, and risk intelligence into a common decisioning framework that helps Prudential sense what is happening across the enterprise, understand those signals in context, and take more informed action with greater speed, consistency, and precision. This is a foundational, long-lived enterprise product, not a finite project, and it will continue to evolve as new signals, data sources, AI capabilities, business opportunities, and priorities emerge.

You will partner across businesses, data, technology, AI, architecture, operations, risk, and compliance organizations to define product strategy, roadmap, adoption, performance, value realization, and long-term evolution. As an expert in product ownership, enterprise intelligence, and AI-enabled decisioning, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.

This role is based in our office in Newark, NJ. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. This position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring weekly basis at least 3 days per week.

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

  • Establish and own the CNS product vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Translate enterprise objectives into clear product priorities, investment decisions, and a multi-year roadmap that balances near-term value creation with long-term enterprise scale.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Distribution, Product, Acquisition, Risk, Service Operations, Customer Experience, corporate functions, Data & AI, Technology, Architecture, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to shape how CNS captures signals, generates intelligence, enables decisions, and learns from outcomes.
  • Define how a multitude of signals are interpreted and transformed into decision-ready intelligence.
  • Define and evolve Prudential’s enterprise intelligence layer, transforming signals from across the business into actionable, decision-ready intelligence that can be used consistently across business domains and customer journeys.
  • Define and prioritize specialized AI agents, decisioning workflows, feedback loops, and human-in-the-loop processes that observe signals, identify patterns, generate recommendations, orchestrate actions, and improve through continuous learning.
  • Own product discovery by developing a deep understanding of stakeholder needs, validating demand, identifying future decisioning opportunities, and shaping future product investments.
  • Own accountability for product adoption, utilization, value realization, and measurable business outcomes, including methods for measuring the effectiveness of AI-enabled decisions and prioritizing enhancements based on impact.
  • Establish reusable decisioning patterns, product standards, and operating practices that enable CNS to scale consistently across business domains, customer journeys, and enterprise priorities.
  • Drive adoption strategies that embed AI-enabled decisioning into day-to-day business processes and continuously refine priorities to maximize enterprise value.
  • Ensure CNS evolves as a durable enterprise capability rather than a collection of disconnected technologies, pilots, or point solutions.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Significant experience leading product strategy, product ownership, or product management for enterprise technology, data, analytics, AI, or decisioning capabilities.
