Taking identity security where it has never gone before.
The Role
Description

Founded in 2016, Silverfort set out to take identity security where it has never gone before. With identity security as our sole focus and mission, we found a way to protect every identity, whether it’s in the cloud or on-prem, human or machine.

Fueled by a belief that identity professionals deserve better, Silverfort breaks down the silos of identity security, eliminating the gaps and blind spots that make them vulnerable. Going far beyond any other solution, the Silverfort Identity Security Platform protects all identities, all resources and all environments, all the time. Silverfort is the only platform that truly goes everywhere to deliver unparalleled protection, context and visibility—all in a single platform.

The VP of Product Marketing will be responsible for leading the product marketing team and shaping the company’s go-to-market strategy. You will collaborate closely with product management, sales, customer success, and the broader marketing team to craft compelling messaging, enable sales, launch new products, and drive pipeline growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic and empathetic leader with a deep understanding of cybersecurity. Most specifically identity security.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy aligned with business goals and market trends.
  • Continue to define and refine Silverfort’s positioning, messaging, and value proposition to differentiate the company in the identity security landscape.
  • Grow and lead a high-performing product marketing team, which currently includes 4 Product Marketing Managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Set clear goals and key results for product launches. Ensure that those are communicated and visible across the company and progress is shared regularly.
  • Develop compelling, audience-specific content—including case studies, solution briefs, web content, and sales playbooks—to effectively communicate Silverfort’s value and competitive differentiation.
  • Develop and maintain customer personas and use cases to inform marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and product development.
  • Partner with the corporate marketing, demand generation, and field marketing teams to deliver content marketing materials that drive pipeline, support revenue growth, and accelerate deal cycle velocity.
  • Lead a key part of the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new product launches, ensuring seamless collaboration between product, sales, customer success and marketing teams.
  • Lead competitive intelligence and market research efforts to identify differentiation opportunities, track industry trends, and provide insights for product positioning, competitive battlecards, and strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Develop sales enablement materials, foundational messaging frameworks, product pitch decks, battle cards, datasheets, and case studies.
  • Train and support the sales team to articulate Silverfort’s value proposition effectively.
  • Collaborate with analysts, media, and partners to strengthen Silverfort’s market presence.

Requirements
  • 15+ years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity, identity security and enterprise software, preferably from leading, innovative and fast-growing companies.
  • Proven leadership experience, including leading a high performing team and driving strategy and execution.
  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), cybersecurity, and related categories and concepts (e.g. identity security, PAM, Zero Trust, NHI, MFA, IGA, ITDR, XDR, etc.)
  • Exceptional ability to craft smart, creative and compelling messaging, positioning, and storytelling.
  • Experience developing and executing successful GTM strategies for B2B cybersecurity products.
  • Experience in analyst engagements (e.g. Gartner) – an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Great interpersonal skills, people management skills, and ability to collaborate with peers and other stakeholders inside and outside of the organization.
  • Kindness and humor. We lead with humanity first.
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time

What We Do

Fueled by a belief that identity professionals deserve better, we found a way to break down the silos of identity security—eliminating the gaps and blind spots left behind by a patchwork of point solutions. The Silverfort Identity Security Platform is the first to deliver end-to-end identity security, protecting every identity in the cloud, on-prem, humans, machines, and everything in between. Our patented technology—Runtime Access Protection (RAP)—natively integrates with the entire IAM infrastructure, giving businesses visibility into all identities, analyzing every access, and extending active protection to resources that could not be protected previously—including NHIs, legacy systems, command line tools, and IT/OT infrastructure. It is easy to deploy and use, and doesn’t disrupt business operations, resulting in better security outcomes with less work. Silverfort is the identity security platform that both identity and security professionals deserve, earning the trust of more than 1,000 leading organizations, including several Fortune 50 companies.
