Our Portfolio Valuation practice provides specialized valuation services to asset managers, including private equity firms, family offices, and institutional investors. We focus on valuing alternative investments—such as private equity, private debt, venture capital, and infrastructure—particularly securities and positions without active market quotations.

 

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiples, precedent transactions, and option pricing analyses.

  • Perform valuation analyses on a diverse range of illiquid investments across industries and geographies, applying recognized methodologies and best practices.

  • Engage with clients through interviews and meetings to collect relevant data and insights.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, working closely with senior management.

  • Lead and mentor a team of Analysts and Senior Associates, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.

  • Identify new business opportunities, draft engagement letters, and contribute to business development initiatives.

  • Prepare and present valuation reports, including clear and well-supported conclusions.

  • Represent the firm at industry events, expanding your network and staying current with trends in alternative assets.

Essential traits:

  • Top-tier Business or Engineering School or University.

  • 5+ years of experience in finance (audit, valuation, M&A, or related fields).

  • Strong technical expertise in corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and accounting standards.

  • Advanced knowledge of valuation techniques for illiquid assets.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.

  • Proven leadership experience, including team management and client relationship development.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
