About the role:
The Vice President of People is not a traditional HR leader — this is an operations-driven, results-oriented executive responsible for turning our workforce into a strategic advantage. This person ensures the company gets maximum performance from its people while protecting it from legal, financial, and cultural risks. Based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, this global role oversees People Operations across the U.S., Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

2. Performance & Productivity Management
- Designs and enforces data-driven performance systems — including KPIs, scorecards, and reviews.
- Identifies bottlenecks in productivity and implements solutions quickly.
3. Culture & Leadership
- Acts as the culture enforcer, maintaining a high-performance environment built on discipline, respect, and accountability — not just morale.
- Ensures that company values are embedded in operations, not just posters.
- Shapes a culture of ownership and execution — fostering leaders, not followers.
4. Compliance, Risk & Legal Oversight
- Oversees labor law compliance across all markets (U.S., MX, DR).
- Builds internal controls to prevent regulatory or reputational risk.
- Partners with legal counsel to minimize exposure while maintaining business agility.
5. Compensation, Benefits & Scalability
- Develops compensation structures and incentive plans that attract and retain top performers without compromising financial discipline.
- Ensures pay equity, market competitiveness, and performance alignment.
- Builds scalable systems — comp, benefits, onboarding, and training — that support growth from 20 to 200+ employees without chaos.
6. Executive Partnership
- Serves as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing unfiltered insight into workforce dynamics.
- Identifies cultural risks before they escalate and provides actionable solutions.
- Balances employee advocacy with the company’s long-term financial and operational health.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in People Operations, Talent, or Organizational Development, including experience leading HR and operational functions.
- Proven track record of scaling teams across multiple countries and building systems that sustain rapid growth.
- Deep understanding of Dominican, Mexican, and U.S. labor laws.
- Experience advising executives and influencing C-suite strategy.

- Clear performance management and accountability across all levels.
- Compliance and HR risk fully under control — no surprises.
- A unified company culture that drives results and scales globally.
Benefits
- Private medical insurance plan
- Competitive salary + Performance Bonuses
