Who you are

Metropolis is seeking a Vice President of Operations Support to lead the design, execution, and continuous optimization of our global operational strategy. This executive will operate at the nexus of operations, data, product, and corporate strategy—driving scalable systems and high-impact initiatives that accelerate growth, efficiency, and market leadership.

You are a strategic operator and transformational leader with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, align cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver measurable outcomes. You thrive in high-growth environments and bring a track record of building and scaling operational excellence across diverse markets.

What you'll do
  • Own and drive the company’s annual and quarterly operations strategy planning cycles, ensuring alignment with executive priorities and long-term business objectives
  • Define and communicate a clear, forward-looking operational roadmap across all core domains, including field operations, supply chain, customer operations, and vendor management
  • Identify, quantify, and prioritize growth opportunities and operational efficiencies to inform strategic investments and resource allocation
  • Establish and oversee key operational KPIs, embedding a performance-driven culture across all markets
  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to optimize workflows, systems, and processes for scalability and cost efficiency
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to build advanced forecasting models, scenario planning frameworks, and ROI analyses
  • Oversee the development of real-time dashboards and reporting infrastructure to monitor operational health and enable rapid decision-making
  • Serve as a senior strategic partner to Product, Engineering, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure operational priorities are tightly aligned with company goals
  • Collaborate with regional leaders and market GMs to scale best practices, standardize playbooks, and drive consistent execution across geographies
  • Influence product and technology roadmaps to ensure systems and tools support operational scalability and innovation
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of strategy and operations professionals
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement grounded in data-driven decision-making
What we're looking for
  • 12+ years of experience in operations, strategy consulting, or business operations, with significant leadership experience in high-growth technology or marketplace environments
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale strategic initiatives and operational transformations
  • Exceptional analytical expertise, with deep fluency in data tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional organizations and navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments

The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more. #LI-DL1 #LI-Remote
