We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Investment Operations to join our Derivative Trade Operations team. This role is located in London, UK.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- To support the Front Office in the execution of their core activities in a changing and dynamic environment by ensuring the provision of accurate, timely and comprehensive information
- To assist with the development of the Investment Operations function to provide a wide-ranging service to both internal and external stakeholders
- To provide support to the front office to ensure trades booked are monitored through to successful settlement. This will include robust oversight of BNY Middle office of behalf of external clients
- To constantly challenge all current processes and procedures to identify any potential for process improvement through such things as Robotics
- To work closely with the front office to ensure all required brokers and markets are set up through the correct process
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Sound knowledge of Derivative and Liquid products
- Bilateral and Cleared OTC experience – overall workflow knowledge from Product/Security specifics and to confirmation (knowledge/referenceof OSTTRA/Markitwire/TradeServ/ICElink/ Trade Manager
- Bilateral collateral and margin experience
- Exchange Traded Derivative end to end flow
- Numerate and able to interpret financial data quickly and effectively
- Effective time management and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Communication – excellent inter personal skills and documentation maintenance
- Ability to problem solve and work with minimal supervision
- Awareness of relevant regulations, EMIR, Mifid II, CASS
- Previous experience of investment management middle or back office processes
