As an HR Business Advisor in the firmwide HR Business Advisor organization, you work with managers at all levels to execute strategic priorities and support core HR activities. You partner with senior HR Business Advisors and leaders within a specific line of business to resolve HR matters and drive people agenda initiatives. You help us deliver effective HR solutions, facilitate organizational change, and support talent management processes, ensuring a seamless experience for our teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of people agenda initiatives and efforts for a business area
- Provide day-to-day advice on human capital matters
- Advise business leadership and cascade organizational changes to institutionalize new structures
- Support year-end compensation processes, including guidance on incentive compensation and salary planning
- Partner with leaders on performance and talent management cycles, including succession planning and promotion processes
- Facilitate feedback processes and employee input initiatives, such as action plans from surveys
- Support individualized development and coaching for managers and emerging leaders
- Provide front-line support for HR risk and controls initiatives
- Deliver project management support for HR-related initiatives within lines of business
- Analyze management information systems and reporting to identify trends and support metrics-driven decisions
- Champion HR process change and recommend improvements based on data and trends
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Three years of overall Human Resource experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of people practices: goal setting, performance assessment, compensation, talent management, workforce planning, manager development
- Project management abilities, including execution and process improvement
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to identify issues and develop solutions
- Ability to leverage data to create HR strategies that drive business results
- Experience navigating a global matrix organization and partnering across HR and business functions
- Collaborative approach and ability to build positive working relationships and ability to foster partnership, trust, and teamwork across teams and regions
- Proven ability to coach employees and management through complex issues and mitigate risks
- Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment

- Nine years of overall Human Resource experience
- Advanced degree
- Previous HR Business Advisor experience
