Role Overview
We are seeking a technically grounded Vice President, to serve as a hands-on delivery leader for our Finance and Treasury technology portfolio. This role bridges deep domain expertise with modern engineering — owning end-to-end solution design, delivery, and operations while partnering closely with various business stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable in a whiteboard architecture session as in a business requirements workshop.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery & Solution Design
Own end-to-end technical delivery of Finance and Treasury application initiatives — from requirements through design, build, testing, and go-live
Architect scalable solutions leveraging cloud-native services (Azure), microservices patterns, and API-first integration design
Design integration frameworks connecting applications and data platforms; ensure robust data lineage and system interoperability
Evaluate build vs. buy decisions and lead platform selection, configuration, and customization for SaaS finance tool
Define and enforce technical standards, code quality practices, and architecture governance within the team
Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering
Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Treasury, and Technology — translating complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions
Engage with digital products & business leadership to align system roadmaps with business strategy and regulatory obligations
Facilitate design workshops, solution walkthroughs, and executive-level status updates with clarity and confidence
Manage expectations, risks, and delivery timelines transparently across business and technology stakeholders
Team Leadership & Mentorship
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, functional analysts, and integration developers; foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
Provide technical guidance and hands-on mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers on design patterns, best practices, and problem-solving

Operations, Governance & Compliance
Ensure finance systems meet audit, SOX, and regulatory requirements through embedded controls and governance frameworks

Manage vendor relationships, SaaS lifecycle, and contract performance for key finance platforms
Qualifications
Domain & Functional Expertise
15+ years of experience spanning finance systems, with strong working knowledge of financial close, treasury operations, general ledger, allocations, and forecasting processes
Hands-on functional experience with ERP/EPM platforms (e.g., Oracle, Workday, SAP, OneStream, Anaplan) and Treasury Management Systems
Understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance (SOX, GAAP) as they apply to systems and data
Technical Expertise
Strong foundation in cloud architecture (AWS or Azure) including managed services, data pipelines, and security best practices
Experience designing and delivering microservices-based and API-driven integrations between finance systems and enterprise data platforms
Proficiency in data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and finance data lake architectures
Familiarity with modern DevOps practices — CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and release management
Working knowledge of AI/ML applications in finance contexts (e.g., anomaly detection, variance analysis, predictive modeling) is a plus
Leadership & Communication
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and deliver complex programs on time and within scope
Proven track record as a trusted business partner — able to engage finance executives and translate their needs into scalable technology solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and navigating ambiguity
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
