About your role:

As Vice President, Global Benefits, you will lead the strategy, governance, and effectiveness of Fiserv’s global benefits and wellbeing function. You will work closely with regional leaders and partners across Finance, Legal, Risk, Tax, and Human Resources (HR) to strengthen consistency, scalability, and compliance across programs. Your leadership will help ensure benefits offerings remain competitive, financially sustainable, and aligned to business and workforce needs globally.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the global benefits organization and set clear functional direction, priorities, and expectations.
  • Guide global benefits strategy across all regions and programs.
  • Lead enterprise-level financial management, cost sustainability, and trend mitigation.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Risk, Tax, and Human Resources to manage fiduciary responsibilities and regulatory exposure.
  • Strengthen alignment and execution across regionally based benefits teams within a globally governed structure.
  • Own global vendor management and governance, with regional teams responsible for execution of defined activities; oversee RFP processes to ensure alignment with global standards, decision frameworks, and RACI accountability.
  • Provide clear, decision-ready insights to senior leadership.
  • Lead benefits considerations for M&A, divestitures, and global expansion.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • Experience leading global benefits strategy, governance, financial management, and compliance across multiple regions and programs.
  • Experience in global benefits, total rewards, or a related Human Resources (HR) function within a Fortune 500 company or similarly complex multinational organization.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders such as Finance, Legal, Risk, Tax, and HR to support enterprise decision-making and regulatory alignment.
  • Experience using measurable governance practices for vendor management, request for proposal (RFP) oversight, service delivery accountability, and operating model design.
  • 12+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience in managing and developing teams, including regionally distributed leaders within a globally governed operating model.
  • Experience leading benefits integration planning for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, or global business expansion.
  • Experience working with captive operating models, centralized service delivery teams, or global benefits administration structures.
  • Experience using benefits analytics to evaluate cost trends, program effectiveness, and vendor performance.

How you'll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Sponsorship:

You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Benefits at Fiserv:

  • Fuel Your Life program to support your physical, financial, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Paid holidays and generous time away policies.
  • No-cost mental health support through Employee Assistance Programs.
  • Living Proof program to recognize your peers’ extra effort with points redeemable for rewards.
  • Eight Employee Resource Groups to foster a collaborative culture and expand your network.
  • Unparalleled professional growth with training, development, and internal mobility opportunities.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options available from day one.
  • Retirement planning including 401k match and discounted shares with the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Tuition assistance and reimbursement program.
