We are seeking an experienced and highly self-driven Vice President to join our Client Activation (Fund Accounting) team in Wrocław.
This is a key role within the onboarding and integration lifecycle, where you will be responsible for leading client activation activities, managing stakeholders, and driving delivery across complex onboarding and migration programs. You will operate with a high level of ownership and accountability, acting as a trusted partner to both internal teams and clients, ensuring that onboarding processes are delivered efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard.
This role is best suited for individuals who are confident, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment, with the ability to navigate complexity and drive outcomes.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Lead and coordinate end-to-end client onboarding and activation activities, ensuring seamless transition of high-volume investment funds into BNY’s operating model,
Act as a primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, setting expectations, managing communication, and providing clear status updates,
Drive timelines, milestones, and deliverables, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and issues to ensure successful onboarding outcomes,
Facilitate onboarding workshops and working sessions, ensuring clear decision-making, ownership, and follow-through on key actions,
Own requirements gathering and gap analysis, ensuring alignment between client needs and BNY’s operating model,
Maintain strong oversight of onboarding plans, risks, and reporting, ensuring transparency and control across all workstreams,
Collaborate closely with Operations, Technology, Product, and Control functions to remove blockers and drive progress across cross-functional teams,
Support migration planning, including cutover readiness, testing coordination, and execution monitoring,
Provide experienced input into solution design and operational setup, identifying risks, exceptions, and improvement opportunities,
Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory and control frameworks, maintaining a strong risk and governance mindset.
Maintain appropriate documentation to ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal governance standards
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
7+ years of experience in financial services operations, with exposure to client onboarding, migrations, or integration programs,
Strong understanding of financial markets and operational processes,
Proven ability to manage stakeholders and drive outcomes in a complex, matrix environment,
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and senior stakeholders,
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and delivery discipline,
Ability to operate independently, take initiative, and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with project management frameworks or workflow tools - nice to have,
- Exposure to process improvement, automation, or operating model enhancements - nice to have,
Experience working on large-scale onboarding or migration programs - nice to have.
