Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President,Full-Stack Engineer to join our AI HUB Engineering team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable, high-performing transactional systems.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership as an individual contributor, driving solution design and development without direct people management responsibilities.
- Build robust and efficient applications using Java and related enterprise technologies.
- Develop and optimize database solutions, including schema design, query tuning, and performance improvement.
- Contribute to the implementation of DevOps practices, including build, release, deployment, and environment management processes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and reliable application deployment across environments.
- Monitor application health, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning improvements to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions to ensure systems are secure, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders, team members, and partner teams to drive alignment, resolve issues, and support delivery outcomes.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development with the ability to build enterprise-grade applications.
- Solid understanding of database technologies, including data modeling, SQL optimization, and transactional data processing.
- Proven experience designing and developing transactional systems with a focus on scalability, resilience, and performance.
- Familiarity with secure software development practices and production support processes
- Good understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment methodologies.
- Experience with application monitoring, observability tools, issue diagnosis, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and their application in software development, engineering productivity, or operational support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in Application development, infrastructure support, cloud technology
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent
