Join the Firmwide Resiliency Office (FRO) as the FRO India VP, where the incumbent be responsible for managing the firm's resiliency risk and ensuring preparedness for crises and incidents. They will work closely with Line of Business and Corporate Function Resiliency Teams, Global Security, and the CAO team to safeguard the firm and our global customers. This role is integral to the India & Philippines FRO team, coordinating during incidents and maintaining continuity of operations. Reporting to the India & Philippines, Head of Firmwide Resiliency, they play a key role in the firmwide resiliency program for India.
Job Summary
As a Vice President (VP) within the Firmwide Resiliency Office India, you will be a key player in running the firmwide resiliency program for India. You will be an integral part of the India & Philippines FRO team, ensuring that the FRO agenda is run consistently and effectively. You will work closely with LoB Resiliency teams to ensure adequate governance is in place and collaborate with the CAO and other Corporate Functions such as Global Security, Global Real Estate etc to ensure preparedness for crises and incidents. In partnership with Global Security and Crisis Management, you will coordinate during any incidents, outages or any other threats that may impact continuity of operations in India. You will report to the India & Philippines, Head of Firmwide Resiliency. This role offers you the opportunity to lead and make a significant impact on the firm's resiliency strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Running a robust resiliency agenda and oversight of program implementation in line with the firm's Resiliency Policy and Standards
- Act in an advisory capacity for LoBs and Corporate Functions, as well as location leadership with respect to the policy and standards, programs, resiliency tools and metrics
- Govern through publishing and monitoring of metrics and ensuring adequate follow up and due diligence on any non-adherence
- Co-ordinating efforts during a crisis or incident, by being a center point between LoBs, Corporate Functions and Support groups
- Ensure location level preparedness and plans are in place, working closely with location leadership and support functions
- Evaluate opportunities and areas that need focus to enhance the resiliency posture of the GCC
- Provide inputs or front end Regulatory requirements from a Resiliency/BCP view point
- Work closely with the counterparts in the team as well as Global/regional partners
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong working knowledge of Operational Resiliency and Business Continuity
- Excellent partnership skills and stakeholder management abilities. The incumbent should be able to work and influence across diverse teams locally and globally
- Ability to manage calmly during high pressure and crisis/incidents and ability to work in a matrix organization set up
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Analytical and critical thinking abilities. The incumbent should demonstrate thought leadership.
- Thinking and connecting the dots across the wider organization and location. Mature leadership styl
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Resiliency/BCP or related domain, with an overall experience of minimum 15 years.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Familiarity with industry resiliency models, BIAs, Resiliency tools and plan structure
- Industry certifications will be an advantage but not mandatory
