The Role

**POSITION SUMMARY:** The Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis, is pivotal in driving financial insights and strategic decision-making within BNY. This role is part of the Finance/Accounting job function and specifically falls under the Financial Planning & Analysis job family. The primary focus is on enhancing financial performance by providing robust financial analysis, developing financial models, and supporting business planning processes. By aligning with BNY's strategic pillars and principles, this position contributes to fostering an innovative and collaborative environment while ensuring financial integrity and transparency. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Lead the development of comprehensive financial models and forecasts by demonstrating expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insightful financial analysis that supports business objectives and strategic initiatives. - Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management, ensuring clarity and accuracy in financial data. - Drive the annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance against the budget, identifying opportunities for improvement. - Enhance financial processes and systems by implementing best practices and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Support the implementation of strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis that align with BNY's strategic goals. **EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. - MBA or Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** - 5-10 years of experience. **SKILLS:** - Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. - Excellent communication and presentation abilities. - Proficiency in financial software and tools, with a focus on enhancing processes and systems.

    Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

    If hired, the employee will be in an “at will” position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payments or compensation programs) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
