We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President – Treasury to join our Treasury team. This role is located in Chennai or Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage a large team (or multiple small teams) of professional staff responsible for implementation and maintenance of Reg reporting solution for asset/liability management, liquidity funding, capital management, ALM committee support, interest rate risk management and measurement for an assigned risk or asset category and/or across a business unit/legal entity.
- Keep constant tab on regulatory updates ensuring that reg reporting solution is kept up to date. The individual must be well aware of regulatory requirements and should have atleast worked on one reg reporting software with another banking or financial institution.
- Experience of working with EBA reporting would be preferred.
- Keeping abreast with reg reporting solution updates so that the bank is able to keep pace with software changes.
- Establish team policies and procedures related to all technical activities such as documentation requirements, underlying assumptions, data limitations, etc.
- Support Production team in and briefings for senior management, highlighting operational activities/outcomes, identifying risks and recommending proposed solutions.
- Build and cultivate relationships with internal peers in Treasury and Finance and other departments ensuring that
- Recruit, direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth and ability to function effectively as a team. Provide feedback at critical times.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor‘s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Degree in math, engineering, statistics, computational finance or economics preferred.
- FRM/PRM certifications would be an added advantage.
- MBA, CFA, or CPA/CA preferred. 10-16 years of total work experience, with 1-3 years of management experience preferred.

Experience with liquidity stress testing, liquidity risk management, interest rate risk management, and/or asset-liability management within large complex financial organizations preferred.
