We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our External Reporting – US Regulatory Reporting team. This role is located in Pune
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of regulatory reporting best practices and understanding of Basel rules and regulatory reports
Having relevant experience in Regulatory capital calculations with fair understanding of CET1, Tier1 and other capital components, Leverage exposure and Supplementary Leverage ratio.
Validate critical data elements used for exposure and RWA calculations of key exposure categories
Quarterly, prepare capital analysis presentation and earnings materials for senior Finance leaderships, including the CFO, Head of Investor Relations, and others
Prepare and submit mandatory regulatory reports like FR Y-9C, FFIEC 101, FFIEC 031 and other US regulatory capital reports to regulatory authorities
Strong control mindset ensuring data accuracy and strict compliance with established regulatory reporting governance including ICRR/SOX/RCSA mandates
Manage reporting processes, oversee data issue identification and resolution, and maintain procedure documents and internal controls
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for data systems and support implementation projects related to new products or regulatory changes.
Work with cross-functional teams, business partners, internal/external auditors and regulators to resolve issues and provide information
Stay informed about new regulations (e.g., Basel III Endgame) and translate complex policy requirements into actionable system logic
Lead, Coach, mentor and develop talents on the team
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
CA/CPA/ACCA Qualified with 7 to 10 years of regulatory reporting experience
Knowledge of Basel capital rules and technical understanding of credit risk products is preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues at various levels
Ability to work in a pressure-oriented environment and handle multiple tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of execution
Working knowledge of Axiom reporting tool would be a added advantage
Self-motivated team player with the ability to research and resolve issues independently
