Kroll is looking for a Vice President to support our Expert Services team. As a Vice President you will assist engagement teams in creating analyses, financial models, determining appropriate valuation methodology, and overall project management as dictated by the needs of the client or legal counsel.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Manage staff to ensure engagement execution within established timeframes
Assist engagement teams in providing guidance to attorneys on key economic, financial, and business issues
Assist engagement teams in the development and evaluation of valuation analysis, including determining appropriate valuation methodology and building and reviewing financial models
Assist engagement teams in the development and evaluation of damages claims and other financial calculations
Organize and analyze large data sets to provide meaningful conclusions
Prepare written reports and presentations for clients
Review internal and external communications, including client proposals and expert reports
Perform assigned tasks with minimal oversight
Independently gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction, client site visits, and independent research
Contribute directly to the development of work product, expert reports, proposals, presentations, and publications communicated to current and prospective clients
Essential Traits:
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
Professional licenses or certifications, such as a CFA, CPA, ASA, ABV, or CVA is preferred
You have a minimum 5 years of experience in relevant professional experience, including practical experience in valuation disputes/damages analysis.
You have demonstrated knowledge of economic and financial theory and financial statement analysis
You have demonstrated experience supporting expert opinions and providing financial analytical services to attorneys
You have demonstrated experience providing client-ready written deliverables
You have proven project management and presentation skills
You have proven experience managing and mentoring a team
You have strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
You have strong Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint skills
