POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President, Events & Promotions is responsible for brand image event, concerts, 3rd party/brand collaboration, tactical events and resorts’ promotion in the Melco Resorts & Entertainment. Job duties include but not limited in initiating, planning, organizing and directing all activities. Lead and inspire team, steer creativity, ensure projects are managed and executed to meet key stakeholders’ expectation, manage/administer projects within budget and achieve business goals set by the management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Always capture industry’s development together with evolving consumers’ insights and turn it into achievable strategy
- Initiate, develop and implement market plans to uplift brand desirability and support business growth
- Steer brand image events including hotel/new facility opening, concerts, entertainment activation, private event with 3rd party and gala dinners. Embrace creative ideas generation and have the liberty to attempt/undertake new things that create awareness, positive interests and talk of the town.
- Partner with key stakeholders including peers in marketing team and business/sales, understand Melco Resorts & Entertainment’s vision and business objective, contribute ideas and exchanges, a solid team player
- Create and ensure high-quality experiences for our customers which match with brand positioning for each property
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing and monitoring annual/quarter budget: scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
- Lead and inspire the team, retain the talents, enhance key talents’ career development plan
- Source, liaise and manage external agencies to support marketing initiatives
- Ensure all events and promotions comply with regulatory requirements and company policies
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in events planning or marketing communications
- At least 8 to 10 years in a leadership role
